Each year, around 30,000 Australians suffer a sudden cardiac arrest while at work, at their home, or while going about their normal daily activities. Tragically, about 90% of these people do not survive because they are not defibrillated in time.
Having a defibrillator (Automated External Defibrillator or AED) on hand could literally be the difference between life and death.

Sudden cardiac arrest is a very common and life-threatening medical emergency where the heart stops beating, suddenly and permanently. It can strike people of all ages, even the healthy and young and usually without any symptoms or prior warning.
Defibs WA was founded by the husband and wife team of Con and Judy Paioff, after their own life changing experience inspired them to educate and raise community awareness about the vital importance of having these life saving devices available throughout workplaces, homes and the community.
